Ariana Reines is an award-winning poet, playwright, & artist born in Salem Massachusetts. Her most recent book is A Sand Book, winner of the 2020 Kingsley Tufts Prize & longlisted for the National Book Award. While she was a Divinity student at Harvard, Ariana founded Invisible College, a study hall for sacred & ancient texts. Her performance and theatrical work has been presented by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, The Whitney Museum of American Art, Stuart Shave/Modern Art, The Foundry Theatre, the Kaunas Biennale, MONA/FOMA, & many more, & she has spoken and taught around the world since 2009.
